Audio – Markers Trouble
Posted by Frank Weber on September 20, 2007 at 1:49 pmI’ve always used the * button on the keypad to drop markers as a way of planning my timing while using Audio. But now in CS3, After Effects drops the marker 5-10 frames after I actually hit the Star button.
???
Please help.

September 20, 2007 at 2:18 pmHm. Slow response.
Got anything else running at the same time?
Using MP3 audio? -

September 20, 2007 at 2:32 pmThanks. But no I don’t have anything else open. I’ve re-installed the audio driver and restarted everything.
When I switch off the audio layer (Wav or Uif) it works fine.
I’m running Dual-Duo-core 3gig processors and 4 gigs of ram with a good audio card so there shouldn’t be any problems???

September 20, 2007 at 2:49 pmIf you have the audio waveform showing, can you hide it?

September 20, 2007 at 2:58 pmThe Waveform is not showing – It’s instantanious when I do a Video preview, or an audio preview. But not both ( Normal Ram Preview.)

September 20, 2007 at 3:17 pmHm. Maybe it’s a bug. You can write to aebugs@Adobe.com .
Until then, you might have to just do Audio-only or Video-only previews when setting markers. I’d use Audio-only when marking hits in the music, but looking at the waveform can be more accurate sometimes. Sorry.
Anybody else?

I reckon it’s time I write to Adobe. -
