  Exporting Subtitles from FCP and importing them into DVD SP

  Hi,

  I have just finished an educational DVD that needs to be subtitled into multiple languages. Am I correct in thinking the quickest way will be to export the English subtitles (which are already on the timeline) to some sort of text document, which will contain the timecodes, translating it into the other languages and then importing the text document into DVD SP?

  If so, how do I export my subtitles from FCP as a text document? When I export as an XML and open in Text Editor, or Excel it’s not in the right format to import into DVD SP.
