  Outputting H.264onto DVD from FCP

  Another H.264 question. I edited some H.264 footage in FCP. I now want to output it on DVD. When I tried to burn a DVD in Studio Pro it would not recognize the H.264 format. Any suggestions how I can output this film to DVD from FCP. Thanks.

  Take it into Compressor…your final edited piece…export as a self contained file. Take that into Compressor…use a DVD preset…take the result into DVP SP.

  And next time, don’t edit H.264 native. convert.
