  Adding two monitors to MBP – NewerTech USB to DVI ?

  Wondering if anyone has tried this device — NewerTech USB to DVI / HDMI / VGA HD Video Display Adapter — https://eshop.macsales.com/item/Newer%20Technology/VIDU2DVIA/ — to add a second monitor to a FCP setup on a MBP? It’s USB powered so it’s not gonna be a screamer but to monitor footage it may be ok? Wonder if it’d even work with FCP?

  That adaptor has been commented in the forum.
  Use the search function.
  Is an affordable solution for a second monitor.

  I did search the FCP forums for “NewerTech USB” and don’t see anything. Can you point me to the post/s.
