  PMW-EX30 HD-SDI Workflow

  Does anyone know if it is possible to capture XDCAM EX material from the PMW-EX30 HD-SDI output as PRORES files using the HD-SDI input of a Kona or Decklink card? In this case, does this work well?

  You can capture to ProRes codec from an HD SDI input. The source codec is irrelevant as the camera/ deck is converting the signal to an uncompressed SDI signal.
