Found myself in bit of a trouble here after loading hd material shot from a cannon 5D (25fps) and a 550d(25fps aswell).

The 5D material appears fine but whenever i add clips from the 550d to the timeline, the sequence forces the 550d clip to 4:3 aspect ratio.

All the material is compressed to proress 422 with this sequence setup:

    1920×1080 HDTV1080i(16:9)
    Pixel Aspect Ratio: Square
    Field Dominance: Upper (Odd)
    Compressor: Apple Proress 422

Have anyone experienced this before/have a solution for it? 🙂

I’ve not worked with either camera’s media, but check the clip’s Item Properties in the Browser and see if the Anamorphic box is checked. If not, try checking it.
