  Importing XDCAM footage (BPAV file) into FCP7

  I’m trying to import Sony XDCAM footage shot on a Sony EX3 into FCP7. I’m trying to import using
  the Log & Transfer function but I keep getting the following error msg:
  “BPAV” contains unsupported media or has an invalid directory structure. Please choose a folder whose directory structure matches supported media.”

  Any ideas on how I can work around this and get this footage imported into FCP7. Many thx!

  You need the Sony plugin:
