  Need guidance for somewhat lengthy photo sequence

  hello.

  i have gone through all the archives and other resources but i can’t find anything relates to anything like what i have in mind…

  i am putting together a basic sequence for my 20th class reunion, basically a couple hundred individual photo’s from Senior yearbook…

  i am hoping to get a bunch of “now” photo’s from people but that would greatly increase the complexity because once i have the sequence done that is when i’ll get a ton of “now” photo’s emailed to me.

  so i’m looking to bring up each picture in alphabetical order, that is pretty obvious/easy…

  but i am looking to do something nice with the pictures after they are shown individually, something that would put each photo into a grid in the background, so it will build something in the background when it is all done.

  i can’t think of anything specific where i have seen this but i just know i saw something that did this really nicely.

  but at the very least, i’d be happy with something that lets me bring in each photo, possibly bring up a “now” photo, and then place the photo(s) in the big picture/grid in the background.

  but something that makes it easy to step and repeat so it is fairly easy to add people/photos and so it isn’t totally manual and brain deadening.

  You could morph the then and now photos. Might look a bit cheesy, but you could play with it and see how ya like it.

  I don’t quite get what you are describing as far as the wall/grid background.

  yes i have a few ideas for transitions between the photo’s, it is what to do with them after that where i am looking to do something creative.

  i just can’t place in my mind where i have seen something like that before but i know i have seen a few things done other than just filling the screen…

  plus i am looking for a way to do this where if i add a picture it won’t mean redoing a lot of work…

  something where i can insert pictures and/or have it build it for me in a fairly automated way as far as where the pictures show up on the screen after the initial viewing where the picture would be fairly large.

  i mean in a perfect world i could spell out “Class of…” using semi-thumbnails of the photos but it would have to be something done with a plug-in or built in feature, otherwise it would be way too time consuming.
