    hey all.

so i have a very ridiculous deflicker problem.

I have an image sequence that tries to imitate those oh-so-famous shots from the Matrix movies where time stands still, and the camera rotates around it’s point of interest.

The problem I am having is that, even though each frame was shot with exactly identical lighting conditions, the levels vary greatly, causing an intense flicker.

And because the point of view is constantly changing in the shot, I am unable to use deflicker plugins like Tinderbox’s- where it stabilizes the levels in a specific area.

I got excited by the plugin GBdeflicker, because you can keyframe the luminance levels during the deflicker process, but, ultimately wasn’t impressed with the control it had.

Right now, I am matching histogram signatures of each frame to the preceeding one. This is more tedious than rotoing.

This whole process I intend to repeat, and I don’t want to waste weeks of time keyframing frames one by one.

Any ideas? other plugins I could try?

please help- I do not want a fulltime job keyframing levels!
