  Convert my .mov video into a Huffyuv Avi

  I’ve just finished a videoclip in Final Cut and need to export or convert it to an Avi format with the codec Huffyuv.
  Any idea about how to do it?

  Hi Sonia,
  That is a Windows codec.
  You will need to convert your movie in a PC or Mac with Windows.
  The codec is free; just Gooogle it.

  I can’t work in windows with my original video settings:
  Native apple HDV 720p50 16:9
  I’ve tried converting the clip into TGA and loosless avi…but no success.
  Finally I exported my video in FCP as DV Pal. It’s a pity that I’ve lost a lot of quality, but don’t know what more else can I do.

  Sonya,
  Convert it to Prores; you won’t lose any quality.
  You only need QT for Windows to play Prores in a PC.
