    Hello,

I am trying to open a project in fcp 6.0.6 on a mac os x 10.5.8 operating system. The footage was all shot on a canon 7d and then clips were put into a sequence. I can open the individual clips but anytime I try and open a sequence i get the error “codec not found. You may be using a compression type without the corresponding hardware card”. and then a second “error: out of memory” message. After trying a few times one of the sequences finally opened but everything is unrendered now and the other 2 sequences still will not open no matter what i do.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks so much

How did you put the clips in the sequence? What codec are you using in the sequence? Describe your workflow in more detail.
