Olympia DV-777HD footage
Posted by Andrew Paul bowser on June 16, 2010 at 6:05 pmI am trying to bring in footage from an SD card into Final Cut Pro and I am not getting video, I am only getting audio.
It is from an SD card out of an Olympia DV-777HD camcorder.
Thoughts?

June 17, 2010 at 2:44 pmNot sure what that camera records file/compressor wise, but bet it’s h.264 or some variant. FCP cannot edit this footage directly, but MPEG Streamclip can be used to transcode it to an editable format such as ProRes… Just google it… it’s free too.

June 19, 2010 at 7:40 pmI’ve tried converting the clips to Apple Pro Res in MPEG stream clip, it still won’t show any video- only audio.
Where to from here?
