Three Cameras, several clips, how to bring them all together
Good day everyone. I shot my first wedding ceremony using one Canon 5d and two 7d cameras. So I have several clips from each camera during the one ceremony. I have done in the past a FCP Multiclip between three cameras, one clip each which was straight forward. Now with multiple clips from each camera for one ceremony, I am unsure how to combine them all and make one continous clip to then create one multiclip? What I was thinking of doing was just getting the one clip from each camera that is the same scene from each and then creating a multiclip from that, but the results of this would then be several multiclips. Is there an easier way to this? Maybe creating one large clip of the several clips per camera and then create a multiclip? Any info on what others are doing would greatly be appreciated. Thanks again

You can go nuts making timelines and exporting quicktimes to try and make it all seamless, but really the way to go is just make several multiclips and be done with it. If you don’t have unusually numerous starts and stops, it\’s not that difficult to deal with. Over the past decade I\’ve cut lots of multicamera network sports and entertainment. That\’s just how it\’s done.

So you are saying to create for instance three multiclips of lets say beginning, middle and end. Then edit each multiclip and select the clips to use?
