  Clips freeze at the end of cuts

  I shot at 24p and 25p (but the 25p clips have been conformed to 24p through Cinema Tools), and during editing, when I cut to the next clip, there will be a slight 1-second delay, and the last frame of the first clip will freeze for a brief period of time.

  I’m not sure what’s causing this… any idea?

  What codec are the clips? If is something like H264 then could be a pause over a cut due to the maths FCP has to do.

  You might have to convert the clips to ProRes or similar.
