XH-A1 can not log and capture in FCP
I’m running FCP6 and it did work fine before with my XH. Then a month or so ago I got a Cannon T2i and shot some HD footage with it and changed some of my settings to inport the T2i HD footage which worked fine. Now today I hooked the XH-A1 back up to inport some footage and can not get it to work for the life of me. Been at it all day ready to give up. All it will say is preview disabled. And if I remember right before a dv in or something would come up on the XH screen but now it’s not even doing that…..HELP!!!!

TRash your preferences, then use the easy setup for HDV (or capture to ProRes) using HDV Basic as the device control of the camera.
