  audio scrubbing with pitch shift

  I find the audio scrubbing tool to be completely useless in that the audio in scrub mode is unintelligible. When scanning dailies – and we’re getting more and more, of course – it helps immeasureably to have a double speed playback, such as Avid has, that is audible. OK, so audio scrubbing works in slo mo, but does anyone know of a work around or any sort of plug in that can achieve an audio scrub WITH pitch shift? Thanks very much.
