  Picture Problem

  I’m new to AE, and trying to create a photo montage for a wedding video I’m working on. Problem is, when I render the project as a quicktime, the aspect ratio of the photos is off. The pictures look squished. They look fine in the composition window. Not sure what the problem is.

  Sounds like an issue with Pixel Aspect Ratios. Perform a Search here at the COW on aspect ratio and you should find lots of information to help you understand what’s going on with your footage.

  If you’re going to post again, please provide more information on your footage dimensions, composition settings and render+output settings.
