  Master Templates making Final Cut Pro take forever to load

  Hi everyone

  I’m using Final Cut Pro 7.0.1 on MacBook Pro laptop and every time I click the thing to open it spends about 5 minutes plus loading all the master templates. I don’t even ever use these templates. Is there anyway to sort these master templates out as it’s driving me mad!

  Everyone else’s final cut pro I know loads in less than a minute. I have to click open and then go and make a cup of tea it take so long.

  I don’t know if this would work, but try removing all the templates from their folder (Library > Application Support > Final Cut Studio > Motion > Templates). Create a new folder somewhere and call it Template Hold, or whatever. Put the templates there in case you want to use them in the future.
