• Apple Final Cut Pro Legacy

  final cut won’t finish start up

  I’m not technical, but in the last week, every time i try to get into Final Cut, the download process goes almost all the way to the end and then simply stops.
  The box disappears and then the white dot alongside the final cut icon also disappears.
  This happens whether I’m trying to get in from my desktop or a hard drive, and whether i’m connected to the internet or not.

  Trash the preferences for FCP. They will rebuild themselves when you attempt a restart of FCP.

  They are located in User/Libarary/Preferences/FCP User data folder. There are three red and white icon’d files there. Trash them… and restart FCP.
