  1080i/60i to 720p

  hello
  I am working on a film in final cut that I began shooting in 1080i60i. Now I want to shoot part in 720p for slow motion. It seems that on this forum it is suggested to convert the 1080i60i footage into 720p. Can you do this in After Effects? If you do it on compressor what should the exact settings be? finally I have to make a SD! copy of this project. What is the best way to convert the 720p into 16:9 sd?
