  Scrolling in filters window pooched

  Anyone else have this problem?
  I updated the last security from Apple last night. Now when I put a transition, say Dip To Color or 3rd Party BCS 3D Transition, the parameters window scrolls forever and is just garbely goop text?

  Have already trashed prefs and restarted a few times, no difference. Maybe I have to buy a new MacPro for transitions to be used?

  I found a workaround for this. I need to resize the effects window every time I use a transition. That seems to fix it.

  I do have the ATI 4870 video card in my MacPro. The MacPro is the 1.1 version that supposedly does NOT support this video card. But this is new behavior since updating the latest security fix from Apple.

  Another workaround after trashing prefs did not work. Uninstall and reinstall Boris BCC Complete. Everything back to normal for the time being.

  You could try deleting the FCP cache files.

  To do so go to the “GO” menu in finder and choose home. Then navigate to Library> Preferences> Final Cut Pro User Data. Trash the “Final Cut Pro OBJCache” and “Final Cut Pro Prof Cache”
