  AVCHD Log and Transfer Crashing FCP7

  All of a sudden FCP will not log and transfer my AVCHD footage captured on Panasonic GH-1 with a 16GB SDHC card. I’ve been through all the hoops (trashing prefs, updating, etc.) to no avail. If I try to capture straight from the card reader it will crash at the moment I open the Log and Transfer window. If I try to capture from the copied file structure on the hard drive it crashes upon selecting the folder.
  I’ve been successfully capturing this way for 8mos now.

  MacBook Pro Intel Core 2 Duo3.06 GHz 8GB RAM
