  Best Workflow for D5 Camera material in FCP

  Best Workflow for D5 Camera material in FCP?

  Is there a workflow for FCP Studio2 to work with D5 material without losing the embedded timecode on the source material and without having to render all the time.

  the QT are H264 which isn’t a workable format for FCP, so I’m looking for a way around this.

  any help or suggestions are much appreciated.

  Use Compressor to make whatever files you want to make and edit with…. I would suggest Apple Pro res 422 HQ

  I thought this was the way to go, but with all the possibilities out there I felt compelled to put it out here.

  You have by any chance encountered any troubleshooting during the digital camera -> Compressor
  ->FCP -> Online ?
