  AVCHD will play in Log & Transfer, but fails to transfer to ProRes

  I’m using:
  FCP 7.0.2
  Mac Pro 2 x 2.66 Ghz Dual-Core Intel, 2 GB ram
  OS X 10.5.8

  I have been editing projects for a client shot on Canon Vixia HF200 cameras which record AVCHD to SDHC cards. For the past several projects, I have had no trouble using log and transfer to convert the AVCHD footage to ProRes. In the latest round of card data I have received, there are a few clips on 2 SDHC cards that will play back in the Log & Transfer window but when I add them to the render queue, they begin to transfer, and then fail (red ! icon shows up next to their status.) If I anyone has any insight or suggested workaround, I would greatly appreciate it.
