    Hi,

This is really a Compressor question but I couldn’t see a forum specifically for that, I thought I would try here…

I am trying to export an image sequence (tiff) from my final cut pro using compressor but every time I do this the outputted files are being renamed.

When I send the sequence into compressor my file name it displays is correct –

ww123_455_actRefFACE_FRONT-half_hd_tiff.tiff but the outputted files are named as frame-000000.tiff, frame-000001.tiff, frame-000002.tiff etc rather than keeping the original sequence names.

I can’t seem to find any naming options in compressor.

I have tried to do this using a droplet, and having the name just be set to source but this produces the same results

    Quicktimes don’t have this problem.

    Thanks,
    Tom.

You can use Automator to rename the files.

Thanks Arnie but I need to export over 100 small sequences so it is impossible to keep track of them if the naming has no resemblance to the source.
