Hi. I’m importing P2 footage into FCP and noticing that the TC numbers in Log and Transfer are not accurate. I’m working with FCP 7.0.1 and the footage was shot on a HVX200 P2 camera DVCPro HD 720p60 59.94. I’ve checked the XLM files inside the Contents folder of the P2 footage and looked at the TC start numbers and can see that what I have isn’t accurate. Also, the producer had his interviews transcribed with a TC reader window burn in and those numbers match the XLM document, not my numbers in Log and Transfer. Any thoughts?
    Thanks,
    Jim

    Jim,

I’m having the same problem with AVCHD footage. Did you ever get anywhere? I wonder if this is more common than I realize or if I’m doing something really dumb…
