Does anyone know how to resolve the issue of FCP going into super slow mode when I zoom into the timeline on my MacBook Pro. I’m working on a Apple Intermediate timeline on a Core 2 Duo with 4 GiG of ram using FCP 7. I’ve tried all kinds things to free up memory, including turning off waveforms, etc.
    Thanks in advance,
    Danny

What are your RT settings set to? For most performance, RT Unlimited, Video Quality and Frame Rate both set to Dynamic. Then what color is the line about the timeline markers. Green will give you very good performance.
