  i had to mix audio in final cut track one had dialogue from one actor track to from the other actor first i centred the tracks but then track one and two seemed locked so i couldn’t adjust the tracks separate.
  does anybody know how you can do this (the faders of one and two moved together so if i moved one i had to put two one the same level)

  Search the FCP manual for clip linking. It is an excellent way to learn how to do the basics.
