  Why is 7D files crashing FCP?

  I have a project setup in FCP at 1080P (have the most recent version), ProRes shot on my Varicam-29.97. I captured 7D footage at 1080P at 29.97 fps and am crashing FCP. What gives?

  Have you converted the 7D files into ProRes? H264 will slow your machine down.
