Just want to copy some effects to another layer. Usually I either drag and drop the effect onto the new layer or hit CTRL+C, CTRL+V.

However, this does not seem to work with an effect like CC Particle World. Is it not possible to copy some effects? If so, can I still paste all of the previous effect parameters into the new one without havinf to manually enter each value?

With some effects, all the settings don’t come over when you copy. You need to save a favourite. (Animation menu)

seems copy/paste will not always copy all the parameters over.
best way is to save the effect off as an .ffx and then re-apply it to your destination layer.
