I will be shooting a live concert using 3 cameras; 2 HVX-200’s and 1 Flip HD to get some rougher crowd POV shots. Usually, I shoot the HVX in 24p mode, but I understand that the Flip shoots 30P.

    What do you suggest here?

Shooting 30p across the board (too video-ey?)
    -or-
conforming the Flip 30p to a 24p FCP timeline.

    Thank you for any insight.

What is your final deliverable? It’s best to tailor your shoot to that, rather than tailoring the entire shoot to the Flip cam.

    Thanks for the response, Arnie.

My final deliverable is DVD & web.
I guess a native 24p edit is the way to go, and work in the 30p Flip footage. I’m concerned about sync issues with that though.
