• Apple Final Cut Pro Legacy

  This may be a dumb question, but I need to cut several files together that are 320X240 files. My approach has always been to use stream clip to export them as 640X480 8 bit uncompressed files, and edit that size in a FCP sequence. The ultimate goal is to combine these files into one long clip and export them as a 320 X 240 mpg file for web use.

  Is this the best method, or should I just leave them at their native size and edit them in a 320X240 sequence?

  Rather than uprezzing in Streamclip I think you’d be better off working in a 320×240 sequence in FCP.

  Hi Greg,
  8b Unc is the best election as a codec.
  If you can avoid the Upscale> Downscale, you would keep more quality.
  Why don’t you keep the original size all the way?
