• Apple Final Cut Pro Legacy

  From Adobe Premiere to Final Cut Pro

  I have been supplied MPEG files (HDV PAL) by an Adobe Premiere Editor. These won’t work in Final Cut Pro.
  I have tried converting the files in Episode without success.

  Can you tell me how to convert these files?
  Or can you tell me what settings the should be used in Adobe Premiere when exporting video for use in Final Cut?

  Apple’s HDV codec is propietary, so moving from one to another does require some conversion. If you have both types of software on the same system, you could convert one to the other in either Adobe Media Encoder or Apple Compressor.
