  Import Settings?

  My office gave me a DVR to record to, and it puts out .mp2 files. I can watch the movies in several players (including Quicktime).
  But when I try to bring the .mp2 movies into Final Cut, there is no sound. It only shows a video track.
  I would assume there is just some setting somewhere that I need to change, but I haven’t been able to find it yet. Any suggestions?

  No Angie.
  FC can not read the MP2 audio.
  You need to use MPGStreamclip to demux it and transcode to AIFF or WAVE.
