    Hello,

I shot some footage using a Panasonic AG-HPX300P using the AVC Intra recording format at onto a Panasonic P2 card.
I offloaded the “Contents” folder from the P2 card onto my hard drive and attempted to run log and transfer to bring the footage into FCP. At this point I receive a message stating
    “AVC-Intra is unsupported on PPC.”

    Here are the details:
    I’m running:
    FCP 6.0.6
Mac OS 10.4.11 on a Dual 2 GHz PowerPC G5 with 2GB DDR SDRAM
I’ve downloaded the AVC Intra Decoder from the Panasonic site
I’ve installed the AVC Intra Decoder as a plug-in into FCP
I can log and transfer non-AVC Intra footage from a P2 “Contents” folder into FCP

I do understand that the AVC Intra decoder available from Panasonic only supports FCP versions 6.0.2-6.0.5, and I’ve also heard that FCP 7 has AVC Intra native.

Is there any solution for someone running FCP 6.0.6 to transfer the AVC-Intra footage in? (ie. is there a AVC-Intra decoder available somewhere? or is there some alternate solution?)
