    Hi

What is the maximum number of frames a sequence can have so that export as image sequence works fine?

I might need to export a 70 min (25 fps) sequence as image sequence.

    Is it advisable?

I don’t believe there’s a maximum number of frames in an image sequence of any kind.

While there is not a limit to the number of frames in a Seq.

The HFS+ disk format only allows for the total number of be less than 32,768 items in a folder according to this Apple doc:

I find it much easier to keep the folders even smaller- keeping the folders content at a TRT of about 10 mins EACH ( 25fps x60sec x10min) or about 15,000 frames
