Hello, As 99% of what I do on my system is FCP editing and color correction I am posting this here in hope that someone can tell me what this is…
Every so often I find a large mystery file on the root of my Mac HD. It is “plain text” file named “-C” and is usually 1.3 gigs or larger! I keep deleting it and a few days or a week later it re-appears…. I am baffled. This is a Dual Quad core Zeon, Mac Pro Running Mac OSX 10.5.7, Final Cut Studio 2 (6.06) and all it does is run the Final Cut Pro suite in a professional post production environment. My questions are… Could FCP be creating this file? and if so why? I never have problems when I delete it… it just comes back later and I haven’t figured out what I do to bring it back.

Any one else have this file on their system… and if so do you know what it is?

    Thanks

    Hi Richar,
I get that whenever I use the “Save” in Color.
I don’t tknow why, but Color packs everything that is the “Color Documents” in that funny “-C” file.
    Don’t worry and delete it.
