FCP 7.x, footage DVCProHD, sequence is 720p 59.94….output is supposed to be 1080i 29.97

view set to 720p, crossconvert out of EITHER Kona or BM cards introduce a single line of green across the top of the raster….AND when going to tape (HDW1800@1080i 29,97) after we set the offset correct, which is a mind boggling +00:00:10, we are off by a field…not a frame..a field…

all other settings are normal, didn’t change any field dominance on the deck or sequence….

but…if we go straight out to DVCProHD @ 720, no green line, no frameoffset issues…could the cross convert be causing this field issue?

for future, I advised the client to use a 1080i preset for the sequence, even though they are editing with DVCProHD footage…

    thoughts?
