  footage not rendering

  Hi Creative Cow Moderators/Helpers:

  I’ve been working on a reel for the last couple of weeks and recently…clips that need rendering are not rendering.

  I’ve tried everything I can possibly think of. (Erasing rendered files, resetting preference settings etc)

  The only way I can work without any trouble is by enabling ‘UNLIMITED RT’ instead of ‘SAFE RT’…

  Anyone have any suggestions of what might be wrong.

  Note: Every now and then a ‘DEVICE REMOVAL’ window pops up.
  So its reading as if I disconnected my External Hard drive. Maybe that might be it, I dont know.

  Post the clip’s properties exactly.

  Post the sequence settings you are using exactly.

  Post the source of these different clips and their codecs etc…
