• Apple Final Cut Pro Legacy

  Clip duration

  Hello.

  I am trying to edit a time lapse sequence in Final Cut Pro. I can change the duration of each clip individually to 12500% but would like to do a batch change otherwise i have about 3000 images to edit individually.

  Any help much appreciated, Rhys.

  You could try editing them real time, export uncompressed, import the new movie back into FCP, and change the duration of that file, containing all of your moving images. Or do it in chunks, that might go faster. You are smarter than the machine!

  is it images or video?

  if it is images you can use QT pro. file/open image sequence/select the images/set frame rate. then you can save it as a .mov. you can choose h.264 and i’m sure some others, i can’t remember off the top of my head.
