  What type of motherboard does the mac pro use? The Quad Version? 8 Core version?

  First off this is NOT a Final Cut Pro question so it really does not belong in this forum.

  But to answer your question.

  The Logic Board (that is what Apple calls them) in EVERY Apple Computer is a proprietary board that Apple has custom made for each model of machine.

  There are no “technical solutions” to your “artistic problems”.
  Don’t let technology get in the way of your creativity!
