  Transcode and retain creation date?

  Hello folks!

  Is it possible to have transcoded files (H264 from 7D to ProRes in particular) to somehow retain its Date Modified file attribute? I like to use the date/time to match these video files with external audio files – if you know what I mean.

  Is there even a way to annotate/enter metadata outside FCP to have FCP see it (other than FC Server)? You know, like Adobe Bridge/Premiere CS4 integration.
