    Hello,

I have a question to ask. I have heard that those graphic cards for games are better for work in after effects than a video card. It’s that correct?

I explain my situation. I want to buy a new video/graphic card for my computer to work better and faster with after effects but I can’t decide which one to choose (video/graphic). I need the card to works with lights and some 3D effects, objects and movements.
I know that a video card it’s good for working with non-linear editing systems like Premiere Pro, etc. but it’s still useful for postproduction works?

I have been searching a post that answer my question but I couldn’t find it. If it’s a repeated post I want to apologise. If there’s a post talking about that please can you indicate which one?

Thanks a lot for the information!!
