  changing video size in fcp

  Hi everyone,

  I am shooting with a canon 5D at 1920 x 1080. I just put together, sound, still photos and video in FCP and need to export at a 960 pixel wide size and a flv file for my blog. I convert the mov file to flv in adobe media encoder.
  -When I export the project, it seems to be exporting at 640 x 480, which I don’t understand.
  -Which settings to I have to change or where can I resize the move so it exports in 960 pixel wide format?

  There is a video tab within the Media Encoder (click edit settings) and then you should be able to adjust the frame size accordingly. I would do the math to make sure you maintain the correct aspect ratio.

  Hi Dennis and everyone,

  Thanks for your help. I’ve resized the video and changed a few things in final cut. Now the video is the correct proportions, but very tiny, and I can’t figure out how to fix this. For my blog, that I’m uploading the video to, the size needs to be 950 x 534, here are some screen shots

  Please let me know if you may have any further suggestions, as I am not sure how to fix the problem.
