  Final Cut Pro 7 Workflow shooting with Sony HVR-Z5E

  Hi there,

  I am about to start post on footage shot on a Sony HVR-Z5E (1080i 25p Scan). My proposed work flow is to ingest to Final Cut Pro 7 – transcode to ProRes 422 – Offline – Colour Roundtrip – Quicktime Export. I would really appreciate it if I could get some advice as to whether or not this is an efficient and viable work flow. In addition, would I capture as 50i considering 25p Scan is not a true progressive frame rate?
