• Apple Final Cut Pro Legacy

  KGCore plug-in error

  We’ve been getting this error more frequently since upgrading to v7.0.1.
  The specific error for those not familiar is “The application Final Cut Pro quit unexpectedly. The problem may have been caused by the KGCore Plug-in.” Normally we trash the FCP preferences, have the user log out and back in and the problem fixes itself. It’s just become more and more of a hassle when the error now happens 4 to 5 times daily, and we need to walk each user through the process.
  Any help is appreciated.

  Please search this forum. There’s a very long thread about it, with a fix.

  KGCore is a pretty “fresh” plugin, I’d mail their support about these issues.

  Even if it’s perhaps not any help but I beta-tested this on FCP 6 and hand no stability issues so it could be a local FCP 7.0 or 7.01 issue.
