I have just installed FactoryFX 2.1.1 in Snow Leopard on Mac Pro Quad-Core Intel Xeon.
Keep getting this error when I launch FactoryFX.

FxFactory could not locate the following components:

    /Library/Graphics/Quartz Composer Plug-Ins/NVQCRenderer.plugin

Please download and install FxFactory again to fix this problem.

I did reinstall, but still same error.
It doesn’t seem to effect the app, but is there any way I can fix this?

    Thanks

    Hi Charly,
    Go to /Library/Graphics/Quartz Composer Plug-Ins/
and see if the “NVQCRenderer.plugin” is over there.
If is installed, for some reason FC can not load the plugin. I would recommend you run DiskWarrior or TechTools.

    Hi daddy van,
Well now you know that is not a FCs fault.
The installation of the plugin is not completed.
Have a look in the Applications folder. Should be “FxFactory” application.
    Try to open it.
If the installer have an Un-install option, run it and try re-install.

If re-installing isn’t working for you, I’d suggest posting this in the Noise Industries forum. The guys there are very prompt and thorough.
