  Firewire input for VO not working with FCP

  Hey
  I’ve got a Presonus Firepod and Im trying to use it with the Voice Over Tool in FCP.
  I’ve had it work for me before, probably with fcp 5 but now it wont seem to work for me. The odd thing is that in system prefs I can see the levels working fine, and can even record with it using quicktime. The process to get it into fcp using quicktime is quite slow and painful though. I tried using it with soundtrack pro as well with negative results. Any clues?

  Hey hey what do you know? The mic must be in the input 1 position for final cut to recognize it.
