  Trouble getting my HVX recognized as a device in FCP

  I have the HVX 200a connected to my FCP via firewire. I shot some footage on tape and I would like to capture using FCP 6.0. I cannot get my camera recognized as an external device. Any Help? I have the camera in playback mode and have tried various settings in FCP setup. I looked at the recording settings on the HVX for the tape and it says 480/30pm. I know I’m doing something wrong, but what is it?
