  Fixing a shiny face…

  In the past I’ve used Captains Blowout Filter to great effect when recovering bits of a face lost due to strong lighting, etc. But this current interview shot is so shiny to the point where the subject looks wet, and the Blowout Filter just isn’t coping. So, does anyone know a way of selecting just the highlights in an image and colouring them to fit the rest of the rest of it?

  I have a hard experience correcting a sweating face. Few pixels but fully white. Looks the lady was crying.
  I tried many things but the only that really worked was Photoshop.
  Thanks God was only a couple of minutes and PAL.

  You could try secondary room in Color. It has about the same capabilities as Photoshop, it will probably still be tricky, but it can work miracles.

  Some makeup in your camera bag is the best fix fore future interviews. I always face towels and some different shades of face powder in a small bag for sweaty situations.
